Worked perfectly
I have an Apple and this device worked perfectly. Plugged it in to my USB port, popped in the old 3.5 floppy disks and 98% of them popped up as readable. They were very, very old, so I was surprised any were actually able to be read. I figured for the price, if my floppies were too old, I wouldn't have lost much. But I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to extract very old data from very old disks.

Works Great!
This unit does exactly what I wanted it to do - read and copy files off of old floppy disks. It is plug-and-play and once connected, it immediately started reading many of the disks I put in it. There were a few that it could not read at first, but I reinserted them and was able to read them later on - I actually think this is more a problem with the super old (and probably stored incorrectly) disks that I was getting files from. Overall, great price for a small and not unattractive disk reader that does what you expect it to.

I was able to access long lost files
I had some old floppies that I wanted the information that was stored on them. When I received this, I plugged it into my usb, inserted my floppy and easily uploaded the information that had been lost to me for 20 years. I knew that files deteriorate on old floppies so I was glad to see that mine were still available. I am happy with purchase and the price is very reasonable. Now that I have uploaded my old files I may not ever use this again unless someone else I know has the same issue, but it is worth keeping just in case.

Gets the Job Done - Great Value!
Works perfectly if you read the instructions and plug into one of the ports on the back of the back of the computer's case, as opposed to the front. I'm running Windows 10 and it recognized the drive immediately - no issues. I've been transferring data and photos from a bunch of old floppies before tossing them and this drive has done just what it is supposed to. Great value!

Fantastic Product and Sooo Affordable
Excellent Product! For a while I had trouble finding this type of product because the costs were too high due to it being "obsolete". I have shoe boxes full of 3.5" discs with thousands of family photos of my kids growing up. I thought they were going to stay in those boxes forever. I had nothing to lose to try this Floppy Drive because it is Soooo affordable making worth the small risk. Very easy plug and play item - My laptop immediately picked it up as just another drive! This item has made it possible for me to retrieve 20 year old pictures and simply drag and drop them into my hard drive and external hard drive (for even more protected storage). And By the way - This item was delivered super fast... I love this thing! I'm going to buy a second one just in case these become "obsolete"!

Just what I needed
Worked perfectly. Showing my age here, but I only needed this to pull up the title of my Master's thesis that I could not, for the life of me, remember. After going through a dozen floppy disks, I finally it found plus some other cool stuff from Grad school that I completely forgot about. Glad I made this purchase. Now I can save my old documents to a modern source.

Perfect (See review for macOS specific concerns)
Works just fine. Reads HDD (1.4 MB) discs from my Mac SE so I can import files to my Mac. macOS (X) doesn't let you write to floppies but you can read them. It's not a problem with this drive, macOS just won't do it. Note: It will not read disks sold as "Double Sided" by Apple back in the 1980s (they're labeled as such). High Density Disks (normal 1.4MB disks) will read just fine, Apple just forged their own path at one point with "Double Sided" disks, it's unlikely you'll ever see one. It doesn't matter how you format them, it's just not going to work with this drive, I haven't found one that will work with them (again, probably a macOS issue since the discs are like 30 years old)

Good buy
I had a bunch or 3.5" disks that had photos from a long-ago digital camera that used the disks. The last 3.5 disk drive I had was two computers ago. This gadget worked great. Just plug and play. I would have not recovered these photos, but the very reasonable price made it worth a shot. Worth it if you have some old technology to deal with.

Make this the year of LESS lazyness.
Saving pics from my first digital Sony Mavica camera I had back in the late 90s. Should have done it back when my computer still had a floppy drive, but I'm a founding member of the procrastinators club. $12 to save your memories isn't a lot to pay. Windows 10 machine easily saw this drive, then it was just a matter of Drag & Drop a few dozen times to get the shots saved and move on with less worry about losing pictures of people and things I can never go back and take again. I may even use it to move some Amiga files I have collected on floppy.

The Chic, Clean, and Slim Floppy Disk Portable Drive Left me Very Impressed!
I appreciate the small size and the usb connector. It's hard to believe, but I came across an old floppy disk - yes, a FLOPPY Disk. For those of you who haven't a clue what these are, floppy disks were how P

I appreciate the small size and the usb connector. It's hard to believe, but I came across an old floppy disk - yes, a FLOPPY Disk. For those of you who haven't a clue what these are, floppy disks were how PC users stored/saved/transferred information from their computer to a mobile storage device. Only a Floppy Disk Drive can access the data on a floppy disk. You can imagine how excited I was to find exactly what I needed and at a super affordable price - without compromising the quality of the product. Thank you CAZ3688. I am confident in your quick fulfillment and high quality product. I will keep you as first choice when shopping again soon.
