Giá đỗ rửa sạch, để ráo. Hành lá rửa sạch,cắt nhỏ.
Đun nóng chảo, thêm 2 muỗng cà phê dầu, phi thơm tỏi băm rồi cho đậu hũ vào chiên cùng.
Thêm bánh phở khô vào chảo, rưới một chút nước sốt gồm: 40 ml nước cốt me, 5g đường, 40 ml nước mắm, 1/2 muỗng cà phê ớt bột vào xào đều tay để mì ngấm nước sốt.
Thêm tôm vào chảo, có thể thêm một chút nước nếu bánh phở bị khô. Thêm tôm và 4 quả trứng vào cùng.
Cho thêm giá đỗ, khuấy đều trong nước sốt. Tắt lửa, thêm hành lá cắt nhỏ, nêm nếm gia vị theo khẩu vị.
Đặt bánh phở ra tô, rắc thêm một chút đậu phộng giã dập, vắt một chút nước cốt chanh.
