I was worried after reading other review about using under water but it worked better than expected. I used a 3" putty knife and was able to fill a 1/2" x 12" crack on the edge of a pool stair. I did not let the product set up after mixing and it was thick enough to use. You could not do it with your hands but with a metal putty knife it was an easy job. I'm certain I could use it to patch a crack on the bottom of the pool without draining. It did leave an oily residue on the pool surface above the repair but it was gone the next day after running the filter.

I have an older sailboat and I recently received a piece of advice from a 40+ year captain. Haven't put it in the water yet for the season and he suggested that I run a good bead of marine epoxy at the juncture between the keel and the hull to support the keel as the weight over the years has likely stretched the securing bolts and this could help prevent any further separation that could lead to a very expensive repair. Made sense and this was a perfect project for PC-11. A bit thick mixing but I was using two paint stirring sticks which worked well enough. (Use one for each element so that you don't prematurely combine them in the containers.) Mixed them on a disposable plastic plate and applied with a disposable plastic putty knife. Used the one pound set and it was the perfect amount. The putty knife spread it well and I'm quite happy with the results.

I know this is a good product, I've used it before, that's why I ordered it, and I had to give it 5 stars because I hate when people give bad reviews to products because of shipping or other problems unrelated to the quality of the product., However I want to warn people..... I purchased this, 1lb 2 part epoxy paste, and it arrived with a large crack in the lid of one of the containers making it impossible to seal and therefore preserve the product. I returned it and kudos to Amazon, they had a replacement out to me the next day, BUT it had exactly the same damage to the lid as the first one so I had to return it again. I'm not going to get another replacement because i assume it will probably have the same damage as the first 2.

Had a hairline crack in my toilet tank. Made sure tank was emptied and dry for several days before applying. Cleaned and sanded across crack and applied 2 coats 48 hours apart. So far works like a charm!! Note that the crack did NOT extend all the way down to bottom of tank. If it had I probably would have had to get a new tank. Saved me a bunch of money!

AMAZING! Used this stuff on a 100 gallon CountyLine Oval Galvanized Stock Tank. I use this tank for my 4 turtles and turned it into an awesome display of amazing turtle habitat. One of the little buggers that's too smart for his own good likes to bite on things, and I'm thinking he created a hole (I don't know for sure, Lol), so there was a never ending leak. The hole was on the welding seam and was maybe a quarter of an inch long. I did have to drain the tank and dry the area in order for this to work. Its toxic until it is dried. After checking to make sure there were no other holes, I filled up the tank and Voila! NO MORE LEAK! I would definitely recommend this.

This epoxy product worked like a charm. I have a large concrete birdbath that was leaking. We let it dry out before repair even though it's marine grade, but then my sis-in-law helpfully refilled it the morning we were going to do the repair. So we bailed it out and let it dry a while but it was definitely damp for the repair, but this stuff adhered like nobody's business! Easy to apply if you've ever iced a cake, lol. Was in full sun during drying time and there was no blistering at all. So far so good, water tight for over a month now.

I purchased this to repair ceramics and it has worked perfectly. I love that I can mix just as much as I need to use immediately, though I do not feel rushed as it stays workable for a while. I had used some type of crazy glue for these repairs in the past, but I have found that using this is more effective and provides as strong a bond. I have used rice in a bowl to help me stabilize the ceramic at time of gluing. Great product.

This is a really thick product so you will build your arms up mixing it. But the thickness is good as it won't sag on a vertical surface. I used it to patch up a deteriorating piece in a concrete fountain and it looks like this is the perfect product for that. It doesn't sag, sticks like h*ll, and sets hard. Although the can says 30 minute work time, it really needs about 24 hours to fully set hard. I used a clean 8 oz metal food can for mixing (don't use a plastic cup unless you're mixing a very small amount - it will break when mixing). I highly recommend using disposable nitrile gloves as this tends to get on your hands during mixing. It can be cleaned off tools fairly easily with a paper towel and denatured alcohol.

I like having this larger quantity!Given that some of my projects are not so petty. I first tried it out in a smaller packaging. I'm actually using 3 different products. My old FAV is no longer available--EverCoat TenSet. What I like about this is: the consistency is easy to mix and apply; the workable time is extended, gving me time to smooth and shape. What I didn't like was the very rough finish I was getting. Then I later saw that I could wet my finger and smooth it a bit. In photo, the piggie suffered from out door winter weather, and I have repainted him twice before. But this last years winter, "washed" his tail OFF, lost half of one ear, and a hole through the other. Also lost his eyes and brow. So, I'm experimenting with product and rebuilding. That's why you may notice 3 product colors. Also widened base of the frog to not tip over. That's how he lost the crown tips. Rebuilt with JB SteelStik.

There are certain times that I wish I could reserve a "Six Star" rating for a product I feel particularly positive about. This is one of those times. I am SUPER happy with this epoxy.... and I've mixed and used a lot of epoxies. It has good workable consistency. Easy to mix. Easy to apply. Good pot life. Sets super hard. Love it! The main task I had for this was to repair a hairline crack in the bottom of a fiberglass tank of a pool filter, which has to hold up to 20 psig pressure. On the inside I reinforced the epoxy with a fiberglass cloth. On the outside (actually the bottom of the tank), which had to hold tensile stress, I hammered to form and affixed with epoxy, four steel strips crosswise across the crack, which I then covered over with more epoxy. The repair is holding well, and I hope to get several more years life out of the filter. I've also used it for various other repairs. Totally satisfied.
